Brent Shelter of Sanctuary (BSoS) is running again next year (2020)

If you are interested in taking part, please register for training.

The BSoS is a welcoming and friendly winter night shelter, offering a bed space for up to 15 men experiencing homelessness in Brent. It is coordinated by the Brent Multi Faith Forum and is hosted by 7 different faith venues across Brent. It will run for 12 weeks, opening on Monday 6 January to Sunday 29 March 2020.

The success of the BSoS reliles heavily on the incredible volunteers who make the shelter a place of safety and sanctuary for all our shelter guests. If you are able to commit to volunteering at a regular time slot once a week, please come to our training session.

There are three volunteering time slots available, 7 days a week:

1) Evening shift 6.30 – 10pm

2) Overnight shift 10pm – 6am

3) Morning shift (6 – 8am)

Volunteers are expected to commit to volunteer for a regular weekly slot for the full 12 week duration.

The Volunteer Training Session will equip you with everything you need to know about becoming a volunteer at the Brent Shelter of Sanctuary.
